Man Fatally Shot After Armed Confrontation at Houston Food Truck

Houston, TX – A man was shot and killed late Saturday evening following an armed confrontation at a food truck in southwest Houston. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near the 6200 block of Chimney Rock.

According to reports, the victim was approached by three men at the food truck who asked him for $20. The victim agreed to get the money and walked to a nearby apartment. However, instead of returning with cash, he came back armed with a pistol. The victim pointed the gun at the three men but did not fire.

In response, the three men opened fire on the victim, fatally wounding him. The suspects then fled the scene on foot, heading west on Elm Street. Although one suspect has been identified, no arrests have been made yet.

Houston police are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
