The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported that the severe weather has also injured 19 people and affected over 30,000 households in 13 provinces.

Among the victims were a Russian couple and nine migrant workers from Myanmar, who were killed in a landslide on the island of Phuket. The floods have caused widespread damage, with authorities warning of further risks in the coming days. Local officials have been urged to monitor weather conditions closely and prepare for additional flash floods.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra visited affected areas in the northern province of Nan, distributing food supplies to residents. Rescue teams are working tirelessly to assist those impacted, including efforts to locate three workers trapped in a collapsed tunnel in Nakhon Ratchasima.
