Bangkok, August 25—The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has expanded its organizational reach to Thailand. During his visit, RPP’s central chairman, Rajendra Lingden, established a party-affiliated supporter organization on Sunday.
The Nepali Unity Society for Expatriates in Thailand, affiliated with the RPP, has been formed under the coordination of Bhushan Shrestha. Young Nepalis in Thailand have been motivated to organize due to the RPP’s opposition efforts in Nepal and their commitment to the country’s interests.
The newly formed society includes Raju Balami as Senior Vice President, Mahendra Shrestha as Vice President, Dinesh Budhathoki as General Secretary, and Rakesh Chaudhary Tharu as Assistant Secretary. Chudamani Bhandari has been appointed treasurer, and Lokendra Thulung Rai has been appointed assistant treasurer. Malika Joshi will serve as the Women’s Coordinator, and Kamal Gurung has been selected as the Youth Coordinator.
Other office bearers include Maila Acharya (Chief Advisor), Wichai Kalikote (Advisor), Daryang Limbu (Head of Religious and cultural affairs), Mohan Gautam (Head of Public Relations), and Keshav Adhikari (Head of the Support Department).
The society’s members include Bishnu Gaire, Rajesh Khanal, Roshan Prasai, Gopal Rana, Binod Sapkota, Raju Dhimire, Sagar Budhathoki, Rohan Kumar Karnikar, and Tikaram Ghimire.
The Nepali Unity Society for Expatriates aims to promote the interests of Nepalis living in Thailand and advance the RPP ideology.
In his address as the chief guest, RPP Chairman Lingden expressed his commitment to working for the benefit of expatriate Nepalis and emphasized the importance of advancing society under the guidance of the RPP.
Lingden also stated that the organization’s formation would play a significant role in protecting the rights of expatriate Nepalis and ensuring full support for the society’s activities in the coming days.
Coordinator Bhushan Shrestha called on Nepalis in Thailand to participate in the organization’s activities, highlighting plans to promote RPP’s principles through various programs in the future.
