Hetauda – A child has tragically died after being struck by a motorcycle in Hetauda. The incident occurred on an inner road in Dhap, Ward No. 9 of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City.
The motorcycle, bearing the registration number Bagmati Province 03-005 Pa 243, was travelling from Mayurdhap towards Hetauda Bazaar when it hit five-year-old Sibhansh Aryal, son of resident Ramchandra Aryal. The child was walking by the side of the road when the accident happened.
The injured child was immediately rushed to Hetauda Hospital for treatment. Still, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries this afternoon, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Laxmi Bhandari of the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
The police have taken the motorcycle rider into custody for further investigation.
