Bangkok, Thailand – A tragic plane crash occurred on Thursday afternoon involving a Cessna Caravan C208 operated by Thai Flying Service Company Limited. The aircraft, registered as HSSKR and designated flight TFT209, took off from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 14:46 hours, bound for Trat Airport (Ko Mai Si).
The plane lost contact with Bangkok Approach at 14:57 hours, approximately 18.7 nautical miles southeast of the airport. The aircraft was carrying seven passengers and two pilots at the time of the incident.
The wreckage was discovered in the Bang Pakong area of Chachoengsao Province. Police officers from Bang Pakong Police Station reported that search teams were collecting the aircraft wreckage. However, none of the pilots or passengers have been found yet, leaving nine individuals unaccounted for.
Initial reports suggest the aircraft’s oil pressure and power might have been compromised, but the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
This incident has left the families of those on board in a state of distress, hoping for any news about their loved ones. The search and rescue operations continue as authorities work tirelessly to locate the missing individuals.
